It has been designed to help teams working with AI to identify unconscious bias in their work that might generate harmful unintended consequences.

It was created by Ania Calderon, Dan Taber, Hong Qu, and Jeff Wen during the Berkman Klein Center and MIT Media Lab's 2019 Assembly program.
