Google Material Design

Material is a system that aims to help designers make better beautiful digital experiences, faster. It brings design knowledge around layout, motion, interaction, etc, together with developer tools and tutorials.

It was developed by Google in 2014 and has been implemented on mobile and web apps ever since.
